Three large fact-checking organizations have united to provide real-time fact checks during tonight's State of the Union address by President Donald Trump.

Anyone with an iPhone or iPad may download the FactStream app and follow during the speech. Organization involved include PolitiFact, FactCheck.org and The Washington Post.

Fact checking via the app typically happens during major political events such as speeches and debates. It was developed as part of the Tech & Check Cooperative project at Duke University's Reporters' Lab.
