Roger Ailes, the CEO Fox News since its founding, will be fired, according to a report.
New York Magazine quoted two sources close to the situation in a story about Ailes's ouster on Monday.
The news comes weeks after Ailes was sued for sexual harassment by former Fox News anchor Gretchen Carlson. According to New York Magazine, an investigation into Ailes was launched by the network following the lawsuit.
Reps from Fox News' parent company 21st Century Fox didn't confirm the news, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Ailes has been at the helm of Fox News since it first went on air in October 1996.
