Michael Jordan’s ability to endorse brand sneakers almost eclipses his fame for scoring baskets.

The NBA legend inked a deal in 1984 with Nike to create the Air Jordan sneakers. The brand exists 30 years later. With the basketball season approaching, the latest sets of basketball shoes are lining shelves across America.

But Jordan is far from the only basketball star to have a line of shoes with a major company.
