OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Authorities in Oklahoma City say they are working to identify a body recovered from a central Oklahoma lake.

Police say the body was reported in Lake Overholser about 5:30 p.m. Saturday. It was recovered by members of the Oklahoma City Fire Department's dive team.

Investigators have not said whether the body is that of a man or a woman and or released other details. Police Department Sgt. Jeff Dutton says detectives are investigating the case and that the Office of the State Medical Examiner is working to identify the body.

Police say they are awaiting the medical examiner's report before determining whether foul play was involved.
