An account verified to CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper tweeted at President Trump Wednesday morning, calling the President a "pathetic loser."
The tweet, which has since been deleted, came in response to Trump's early morning tweet about the Alabama Senate race.
"The reason I originally endorsed Luther Strange (and his numbers went up mightily), is that I said Roy Moore will not be able to win the General Election. I was right! Roy worked hard but the deck was stacked against him!" Trump tweeted.
"Oh Really (sic)? You endorsed him you tool! Pathetic loser," said Cooper's account in response.
The tweet remained live for just over an hour before it was deleted. Cooper claimed his account was hacked.
