CLEVELAND, Ohio — Cleveland Police said a 9-year-old boy was shot by a stray bullet while watching TV.
Police said it happened after midnight on Griffing Avenue.
The victim's family told police that they were in the living room when they heard gunfire.
The family hit the ground as two rounds went through the ground.
Police said the child was hit in the hand and grazed on his shoulder and chest.
He was taken to the hospital and will have surgery for his injuries.
