This past weekend, Powers' home was destroyed by a fire. William and his wife were able to get out safely, but he says he is worried that the cats didn't make it.

The couple also has a third cat that lived inside the home.

There is still hope that the three cats are alive. William left a couple of doors open so they could escape.
