Pittsburg County - The Oklahoma State Medical Examiner is investigating a human skull found in Pittsburg County on Thursday.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the skull, which appeared to have a gunshot wound, was located in the Turkey Flat area of Arrowhead State Park on Lake Eufaula.
Troopers, deputies from the Pittsburg County Sheriff's Office and a game warden searched the dense wooded area and turned up no additional remains.
The medical examiner's office is analyzing the skull.
