MAYES COUNTY, Okla. -- Three students were taken to the hospital after a bus crash in Mayes County Thursday afternoon.
The crash happened southwest of Adair on EW 43 Road between NS 227 and 228 Roads.
Authorities say the bus veered off the road to the right for an unknown reason, over corrected and went off the road, hitting a tree.
According to officials, other students aboard the bus were either taken home or placed on another bus.
