Man killed in Sand Springs after crashing into tree, as per Oklahoma Highway Patrol

SAND SPRINGS, Okla.- The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating after a man was killed in a one-vehicle crash in Sand Springs Saturday evening. 

Officials say a man driving a pickup at a high speed when he lost control and crashed into a tree near the 3500 block South 177 W. Ave.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Troopers say he was the only person in the vehicle at the time of the crash.

The man's identity has not been released at this time.
