It's the news his family has been waiting to hear for months now.
5-year-old Allen Adams could finally get the organs he desperately needs. Doctors diagnosed him with hyperoxaluria about a year ago.
His case was approved by a transplant board, meaning he can be added to the list for two kidneys and a liver.
"I just want to say thank you to everyone that has helped us… that has come together," said Samantha Cooper, Allen's mom. "They don't even know us, and for them to help us is like God is reaching out."
Now, Allen's parents are forced to wait again, but this time for a matching donor who can give their son the gift of life.
We'll let you know what happens.
