TULSA – One woman is claiming she was tied up during an alleged home invasion Tuesday morning in west Tulsa.

Joette Davis says she had just dropped her kids off at school and returned home to finish getting ready for work.

While brushing her teeth, she says she heard a knock at the door. Davis says she thought it was her cousin knocking.

When she opened the door, Davis says a man pointed a gun in her face and ordered her to a chair in the apartment.

“I sat down and I just kept my eyes closed, and within like two or three seconds, he had my eyes tied, mouth gagged and just tied me to the chair”

When the suspect left, Davis says she fell over in the chair and scooted to the door to wait for help.

Her cousin eventually arrived and freed her. Davis says she was robbed of electronics and $500 cash.

Tulsa police took Davis in for further questioning regarding what she says happened at the home Tuesday morning.

At the moment, police say they don't have any leads.
