CORDELL, Okla. (AP) -- The Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation is asking the public for help in finding a woman described as a "person of interest" in the shooting death of a Cordell man.
Authorities want to question 44-year-old Kathryn Lynn Hicks about the death of 59-year-old Michael Beach. The OSBI says Beach's body was found in his home Monday by Cordell officers conducting a welfare check that was requested by a friend who had not heard from Beach for several days.
Beach's white 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe is also missing.
The OSBI has described Hicks as a friend of Beach and say she may be driving a dark blue, early 2000s Toyota Celica.
