TULSA — Tulsa police said one man is dead and another man is behind bars after an altercation over a woman leads to a deadly shooting at a west Tulsa apartment complex.
Police said the victim and Travonta Ashley, 21, got into an altercation over a woman the victim was with at the Brightwaters Apartments.
Ashley then shot the victim in the upper back with a shotgun, police said.
Police said the victim was transported to a local hospital, where he later died. That victim was identified as Ryan Johnson, 28.
Police said they detained Ashley after finding him walking outside the apartment complex.
Ashley was arrested for first-degree murder, police said.
