STILLWATER, Okla. – Authorities cautioned Oklahoma State University students Wednesday after receiving reports of a drive-by shooting.
OSU campus alerts told 2 Works for You that a 21-year-old woman was shot around 9:45 a.m. near Boomer Lake.
Stillwater police say, the woman was with a friend riding their bikes near the southwest corner of the lake when they heard a "sharp noise." Authorities say she was hit in the back.
According to authorities, the victim was treated and later released from a local hospital.
Investigators are now searching for a possible suspect vehicle described as a "1990 model baby blue Chevrolet or GMC extended cab pickup with chrome trim." The pickup was noticed just east of Washington when the shooting occurred and continued westbound across Washington Street afterward.
