A woman was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of her boyfriend in 2017.
Sunny Joyce Jones pled guilty to a lesser charge - from Murder 1 to Manslaughter 1 - in the death of Christopher Boyle, who was her live-in boyfriend.
At the time of the shooting, police said Boyle and Jones were arguing in the front yard and witnesses told officers that gunshots were heard shortly afterward.
Jones turned herself in when one of Boyle's family members came to check on the homeowner's well being and found him dead against the front door.
