MUSKOGEE, Okla — A man is dead after his wife found him drowned in a creek just outside their house in Muskogee County.
The accident happened Sunday afternoon, just outside of Porum, where investigators tell us 69-year-old Jerry Barnard went to clean out tinhorns in a small creek, officials say.
Officials say when his wife went to check on him, she says Barnard was face down in the creek.
First responders were called out to try and revive him, but they were too late, officials say.
