TULSA -- Police are investigating a tragic incident in downtown Tulsa.
Officers confirmed a 24-year-old woman fell from the roof of the Mayo Building and died early Thursday morning.
Officers responded to 5th and South Main Street around 12:30 a.m. and found the woman's body lying on the sidewalk.
Police said the woman had been visiting someone who lives at the apartment building.
The Mayo Building contains luxury apartments and a rooftop deck. It is not connected to the Mayo Hotel, which is located a few blocks away.
The woman's cause of death is still being investigated, but it is not a criminal investigation, police said.
