The Adair County District Attorney said he has dismissed a woman's marijuana possession charge after she presented her medical marijuana card.
Jack Thorp told 2 Works for You that the woman was cited for marijuana possession in Adair County although she had a medical marijuana card.
Thorp said deputies asked the woman where she received the card and she said from a drug dealer in town.
"The woman was given a citation because the deputies did not believe that was the proper way to get marijuana," Thorp said.
Thorp said the charges have been dismissed pending further investigation.
