Sequoyah County Sheriff's deputies arrested a woman Tuesday in connection with a 2017 shooting death.

Deputies said Elizabeth Nicole Stewart was arrested on a murder warrant in Gore.

Officials said Joshua Tucker was found lying in a neighbor's driveway on October 26, 2017 with a single gunshot wound to his abdomen. Tucker died at a Tulsa-area hospital.

"Over the past few months, Investigator Gene Wheat, and other investigators have been diligently working on this case," Sequoyah County Sheriff Larry Lane said. "Through their investigation, the evidence showed probable cause for an arrest warrant to be issued."

Stewart is currently being held without bond at the Sequoyah County Detention Center.
