BROKEN ARROW - A woman was arrested Sunday after police say she was intoxicated while taking care of three children.
Police say Carpenter was extremely intoxicated and knocked on a neighbors door asking for help near the 600 block of South Fir Court.
When police arrived, they found Carpenter in her front yard. According to authorities, she was extremely intoxicated and home alone with three young children.
When police entered the home to check on the three young children, police found marijuana and paraphernalia on the living room table.
Police say when asked, Carpenter said the marijuana belonged to her and she had been smoking, which is why she said she couldn't take care of the children.
Carpenter was arrested on multiple charges including possession of drug paraphernalia and child endangerment.
