TULSA — Tulsa police arrested a woman after she allegedly assaulted a man with a baseball bat.
Officers said they were called out to 2100 block of East 2nd Street on Tuesday night after receiving a call that the suspect, Stephenie Carrell, had gotten into an argument with the victim and assaulted him with a bat.
The victim told police he took the bat away from Carrell, but she produced a box knife to assault him again, police said.
Police said before they got to the scene, Carrell left in a red Jeep Grand Cherokee, but was able to find her and attempt to pull her over.
Carrell sped off in an attempt to run away from them before crashing into a parked backhoe at Utica Avenue and Latimer Street, police said.
Police said Carrell was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, eluding, DUI and possession of marijuana.
