TULSA – The woman accused of slashing the body of her husband’s former girlfriend appeared in court Thursday.
Shaynna Sims is appeared for a motion hearing this week but a ruling was not issued. Sims’ lawyer filed a motion to quash the arrest, suppress evidence and dismiss the charges against Sims. Instead, the judge pushed the ruling date to May 6.

According to local police, Sims cut the corpse of a woman during her funeral home viewing last year.
Sims is charged with four felonies -- unlawful removal of a body part from a deceased person, larceny, concealing stolen property and first-degree burglary -- and two misdemeanors -- unauthorized dissection and disturbing a funeral.
