Winter Wonderland at Tulsa's Gathering Place begins

TULSA — A Winter Wonderland right here in Tulsa!

Gathering Place is transforming into a Winter Wonderland starting Wednesday, Dec. 18 and running through Jan. 1.

Officials say Winter Wonderland, presented by American Airlines, will be spreading holiday cheer with strolling carolers, festive foods, holiday drinks, special performances, nightly entertainment, a holiday train, a special snow show, and thousands of twinkling lights shining throughout the Chapman Adventure Playground.

Santa Claus will be available to capture a family photo by the fireplace every night through Dec. 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The Winter Wonderland Express Train runs every night through Jan. 1 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. from Williams Lodge Drive.

Also, don't miss the Winter Wonderland Snow Show nightly which will happened every 30 minutes beginning at 5:15 p.m. at the Caterpillar Bridge.

Below is the special entertainment schedule for Dec. 18:

5 p.m., 6 p.m., 7 p.m. - Gemstar Caribbean Steel Band at The Patio

5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m. - Ochoa Elementary Glee Club Carolers Strolling

5:30 p.m., 6:30 p.m., & 7:30 p.m. - The Imaginaries at Gather Round Stage

Officials say all activities are free and open to the public.
