Wild Heart Ranch sends bald eagle back into wild

Wild Heart Ranch is wrapping up a milestone year, releasing their 5th bald eagle of this year.

Thursday volunteers sent another bald eagle back into the wild. Hope is the first eagle to benefit from the ranch's new flight cage.

She came to the center paralyzed with a spinal injury. After months of rehab, she was released at Oologah Lake.
“This is a symbol that means so much to us and when I release those birds, it's about patriotism, it’s about our veterans and it’s about taking care of each other as a country,” Annette King, Wild Heart Ranch founder said.

For the time being, Wild Heart Ranch does not have another bald eagle in their program But they continue to help dozens of other injured animals at their 40 acre ranch.
