Tulsa fire crews from Station 4 rescued two families Monday morning due to waters up to three feet high brought by the rain.

Around 2 a.m. they rescued the first family, two adults and three children, from one of the homes near West 31st Ave and West 101st Street.

The second family included at least one adult and five pets.

Fire crews used a boat to get to the families. They say everyone is safe.

Firefighters are advising you to stay away from areas with road signs warning you about high waters.
