TULSA — A water main break near 44th Street and Sheridan blocked off both northbound lanes of traffic.
Cars are flowing north and south in the southbound lanes while crews repair the road.
A spokesperson for the City of Tulsa said the break itself, that happened Saturday, is fixed. They called in emergency crews to repair the road and expect that to take a few more days.
They have also discovered that a valve is leaking nearby that is continuing to put water on the road. The city is trying to get the valve turned off. If they decide it needs repairs, a spokesperson said they will likely start sometime next week.
