TULSA, Okla. — Crews are working to repair a water line break in south Tulsa at a busy intersection and shopping area, blocking off two lanes of traffic.
The city says it is a 12 inch water line near 61st and Yale which happened late Wednesday night.
It’s not affecting any residents or keeping any businesses from opening their doors but it will have an impact on traffic.
Crews have shut down two of the southbound lanes and it's unclear when it will open again.
According to the City of Tulsa’s data, the intersection at 61st and Yale can get really busy throughout the day, with nearly 25,000 cars passing through.
We are close to freezing temps, which could turn this area into a skating rink if the temps drop lower.
