TULSA — According to the Tulsa police, an officer attempted to pull over a possible stolen vehicle early Friday morning.
Police say when officers turned their lights and sirens on, the vehicle began to pick up speed in an attempt to flee.
Police say the stop sticks that were used deflated both the passenger side tires.
The chase lasted for 20 minutes, finally coming to an end near 6900 Riverside Parkway, police say.
Police say, the driver, identified as Charles Christopher Wheeler, was taken into custody and transported to a local hospital.
