Town to have 'Voice' watch party for artist

LIBERTY MOUNDS, Okla. - For the second night in a row, a singer from Tulsa is expected to appear on the hit TV show "The Voice."

Chelsea Gann of Liberty Mounds will try to become a contestant on the show's tenth season as the people of Liberty Mounds will crowd into a small restaurant to cheer her on. If Gann makes it, she will be the third artist from Green Country to appear this season.

The Tigers Den restaurant and Convenience Store is expecting more than 100 people to turn out and watch their hometown contestant.

Joe Rider, the restaurants owner says "I was thinking that would be really neat if she made it. It's going to be like a family reunion here. We are going to have a lot of friends, a lot of people that love each other and care about each other it's really going to be exciting for the community."

Monday, ORU alum Brian Nhira moved on to compete in the show's Battle Rounds.
