19 people in Green Country charged for sex crimes against children, after a month long nationwide operation.

The FBI and local law enforcement were involved.

They say predators use the internet to lure children into sex trafficking- and they warn- it happens more often than you'd like to think.

They're urging parents to get nosy, be that helicopter parent and talk to them.

"The cost of not engaging with your child or not talking to your child and not knowing what it is that they're doing on their phone or who they're talking to is too great," U.S. District Attorney for Eastern Oklahoma Trent Shores said. "Because you could be leaving your child open and vulnerable to become a child sex victim."

Local authorities have a message to child predators as these operations continue "we're coming after you, so get ready."
