BARTLESVILLE, Okla. – Washington County officials are investigating the recent death of a 4-month-old that was allegedly abused by her father.
Bartlesville police says a woman called on March 10 and indicated that her boyfriend was abusing her baby and making threats.
According to the Washington County assistant district attorney’s office, Sariyah Pesti was “slapped” late last week and found dead Sunday.

Jesse Pesti, 34, was arrested by Washington Co. officials and originally faced child abuse and kidnapping charges but since then, the charges have been upgraded to first degree murder.
Family members of Sariyah Pesti said the funeral will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at the Stumpff Funeral Home in Bartlesville.
