WASHINGTON COUNTY, Okla. -- The Washington County Sheriff's Office is urging residents to check their bank accounts after reports that card skimming devices possibly gave thieves access to debit and credit card information.
The Sheriff's Office said customers with several banks in the area have been victims to the issue.
There has not been a breach with any financial institutions' computers, officials said.
The Sheriff's Office advises residents to check their accounts to see if their accounts were compromised.
