and last updated

The future of Walmart could be up to robots.

Walmart says they are adding thousands of new robots to its stores.

You may have already seen them in some Oklahoma stores.

The so-called smart assistants will clean floors, scan shelf inventory and sort deliveries.

The company says the robots will allow employees to spend time with customers.

Oklahoma has eight robotic floor scrubbers in use at stores in Tulsa, Muskogee, Owasso, Glenpool, Sand Springs, and Tahlequah.
