Wagoner police reserve officer accused of groping dispatcher

WAGONER, Okla. — A reserve officer with the Wagoner Police Department is being accused of sexual battery.

According to court documents, Orangel Suarez Perez, the reserve officer, came into the dispatch area in March while the dispatcher was working on the computer.

Documents say Suarez came up behind the woman and groped her and made inappropriate statements.

The woman told Suarez to leave her alone, but he said that they were friends and that she should go along with what he was doing, documents said.

During an interview, Suarez told officials that he told the woman that she looked like she needed a back and neck rub, which her gave her for about 45 seconds, and then left.

Suarez faces one count of sexual battery.
