Wagoner County investigators are still looking for the shooter responsible for a homicide in a Rocky Point neighborhood.

Detectives say 27-year-old Drew Gibson is the victim.

Around 9:30 this morning, neighbors heard chaos erupt at a home on S 318 Ct in Wagoner County.

“When they ran out on the porch, there was a lot of commotion, they were running and turning around,” Regina Lively recalled.

Lively saw four people leaving the house in a panic. She was on her porch across the street, talking to a neighbor on the phone.

“My neighbor had heard three shots, wasn't sure what they were at first, but now we know,” Lively said.

Gun shots prompted a call to 911. When deputies arrived, most of the witnesses were gone and they found Gibson dead in the doorway of the house.

A single bullet ended his life.

“We just don't know the whole deal, we don't know if it's a domestic, a drug deal, or if someone just got into a fight and that's what it escalated to,” Cpt. Jeff Gragg said.

The motive remains a mystery. Investigators hope to get answers from the homeowner, taken into custody this afternoon.

Right now, investigators are still tracking down leads if you have information please call Crime Stoppers.
