Wagoner County Sheriff's Deputies arrested a registered sex offender for allegedly having lewd communications with a 14-year-old girl.
Deputies said on Tuesday, June 19 they responded to the Lakecrest area in Wagoner County to investigate allegations of lewd proposal to a minor.
After an investigation, deputies arrested Donald Ray Hughes, 56, who was attempting to have the 14-year-old perform sex acts.
Hughes is being held on $50,000 bond.
