WAGONER COUNTY, Okla. -- Authorities are investigating after they say a woman was shot in Wagoner County Monday afternoon.
The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office received a report of a shooting along South 273rd East Avenue.
According to officials, construction workers found a woman screaming for help in the woods and discovered she had been shot.

Workers at the site then called police. The woman was transported to the hospital in unknown condition.
At this time, officials with the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office say they have limited suspect information.
