WAGONER COUNTY, Okla.-- The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office is investigating a possible case of animal cruelty.
A total of 22 horses and eight dogs were taken from a vacant home because they were malnourished.
Lt. Ramsey says WCSO executed a search warrant Tuesday morning at the property near East 750th Road and South 300 Road in Wagoner. Deputies immediately called the Humane Society of Tulsa to pick up the animals.
The organization is now examining the dogs and horses, while the investigation is ongoing.
