ADAIR, Okla. -- Have you seen this dog? A Waco, TX family is searching for Quest after he jumped out of their vehicle when they were rear-ended on I-44.

Lacy Parker tells Two Works For You that their family rescued the 7-year-old pup after he was abused by a previous owner. He has a distinctive scar around his belly after a harness was left on too long and had to be surgically removed.

Quest jumped out of the family's car on I-44 near Highway 28 in Adair after their vehicle was hit in an accident. He was last seen running southbound on I-44.

Parker says their whole family is devastated, especially because Quest is their 13-year-old son's anxiety dog.

The family was stuck in Claremore for a few days after their car was totaled, but they arrived back in Waco on Sunday.

The owner says Quest is microchipped, but wasn't wearing a collar.

If you see Quest or know where he is, please call (254) 265-4075.
