SAND SPRINGS — Volunteers are coming together to help cleanup the Case Community Park on Saturday after it was damaged by flooding.
Volunteers from Sand Springs Local Church Network and the City of Sand Springs will arrive at the parking lot of the community center at 8 a.m.
In a news release, city officials say volunteers will split into several teams, covering much of the 120-acre park site.
Workers are advised to wear work clothes, gloves, proper footwear, hat and sunscreen, the news release said.
