Major construction projects are happening near 18 Green Country schools.
Sidewalks, curb ramps, crosswalk signs and speed bumps are going up as part of the Vision Tulsa project.
The safety measures will be completed in early August -- just in time for the new school year.
This round of improvements is targeting Tulsa and Union District Schools.
Work at the 18 schools should be completed by early August, city officials said.
