A security camera captured the moment a gunshot was fired at a man who was serving eviction papers in south Tulsa.

Tulsa police said the shooting happened back on Wednesday, July 25 in the 7500 block of East 102nd Street.

Police said the victim, who is a process server, was serving eviction papers to the suspect, Christopher Barnett, when the victim was shot in the elbow as he was walking back to his vehicle.

According to a police report, Barnett told the victim several times that he would kill him.

Barnett, who is a former Oklahoma gubernatorial candidate, was arrested and faces counts of shooting with intent to kill and threatening an act of violence.

In court today, Barnett pled not guilty to both charges.
