On this Veterans Day, local organizations are reminding our servicemen and women there is help out there for accessing VA benefits.
Jessica Shepherd and her husband are trying to help vets like get access to the care they deserve.
They started a charity called ‘Eagle Ops’
“There’s so much out there, so we thought if anything we could just help bridge a gap,” said Jessica Shepherd, Eagle Ops.
Oklahoma DAV, which works with disabled veterans, says only about a third of eligible veterans in the state are receiving benefits from the VA.
