Verdigris police are investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that killed a Tulsa city councilor's mother.
The incident occurred Monday around 1 p.m. near Highway 266 and South 4100 Road, police said. Mary Ann Dannette Patrick lost her life in a three-wheeled motorcycle collision.
Dannette Patrick was the widow of former, long-time Tulsa City Councilor David Patrick.
Her daughter, Councilor Crista Patrick, issued a statement saying, “Our family is heartbroken at this unexpected, tragic loss, especially so soon after the loss [of] my father. At this time, we are still processing everything and kindly ask that everyone respect our privacy while we are grieving.”
