Vehicle catches fire following Tulsa crash Sunday morning, driver flees scene

TULSA -- Tulsa Police are investigating a car caught fire following an early morning crash Sunday.

Officers say they got a call to respond near 21st and South Garnett around 2 a.m.

Police say a total of three vehicles were involved in the crash. According to police, one driver exited 108th East Avenue and tried to make a left turn onto East 21st Street then failed to yield to a large SUV.

The drivers collided and were pushed into another vehicle. Police say the at fault vehicle caught fire.

The driver of that vehicle and the driver of the SUV fled the scene on foot. Officers say no one was injured during the crash.
