Officials with Oklahoma Highway Patrol have released the identity of the suspect from Wednesday's trooper-involved shooting.

Officials identified the suspect as 34-year-old Adam Ray Hernandez.

Investigators say the Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers spotted a stolen truck in Moore, Okla. and started a pursuit.

They say the suspect got off the highway, lost control and hit a utility pole.

Authorities tell us when the man got out of the truck and troopers opened fire, killing him.

We don't know at this time if the man was armed.

Two state troopers are now on paid leave following the deadly shooting.

Trooper Joe Kimmons, who has been with OHP for 20 years, and Trooper Clay Anderson, who has been on patrol for 18 years.
