TU President Upham announces retirement

TULSA – University of Tulsa President Steadman Upham announced his plans to retire at the end of 2016.

According to a statement sent out by TU, the selection process for a new president has started. Upham plans to take a sabbatical in 2017 then return the university as a member of the faculty. 

“My wife, Peggy, and I believe this has been the most exciting and fulfilling chapter of our careers,” Upham said. “The collective talent and spirit of the TU family is like no other, and together we have accomplished more than I would ever have expected.”
