JENKS, Okla. -- A local sanitation worker picks up a unique friendship during his route in Jenks.

Every Thursday morning around 7 a.m. three-year-old Myles Henrichs hears the honking from the American Waste Control truck, and runs out to say hello.

This relationship started a few months ago. When Aaron Mitchell picks up at the Henrichs house in Jenks, he'd wave to Myles. It escalated to a high five, hug, and plenty of conversation.

This week, Myles was gifted with a surprise by his friend.

"This past Thursday they surprised Myles and brought him a huge garbage truck which he absolutely loved and it was kind of above and beyond any expectations that I’ve ever had," said Amanda Henrichs, Myles's mother.

The gift was done by Aaron's own generosity, showing no act of kindness is too small.
