TULSA — Some teenagers in northeast Oklahoma rallied together in a generous act of kindness.
Students helped raise a little over $11,000 for Saint Jude Children's Hospital.
There are four Union students with cancer who are getting regular treatment there.
An organizer said giving back should become second nature.
"While it was a week of raising money for St. Jude's, our hope it would be a lifestyle change for some, of giving back and helping others in need," said Associate Director of Student Life Michael Rose.
Among the events held during Union's philanthropy week was a student versus staff basketball game and kiss a pig.
